Funeral services for Mrs. Susie C. Nelson were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Hepsoda Baptist Church with the Rev. J. R. Halbrook officiating. Burial was in Patterson Cemetery under direction of Spencer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nelson, daughter of Asa and Mary Craig Bain, was born in Dent County Feb. 26, 1884. She died Dec. 7, 1958 at Hart Clinic at the age of 74.
She was married to William M. Nelson Nov. 12, 1902 and seven children were born. Mr. Nelson preceded her in death.
She is survived by five sons, Earl and Delbert of Licking, Lee and Archie of Montauk and Willie of Jadwin; two daughters, May Hall of Manchester and Grace Hudson of Fenton; 15 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Nelson was converted a number of years ago and baptized into the Heposda Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her death.
