(WARNER ROBINS) Betty J. Richards, 75, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 21, 2008 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. Reverend Bill Bagwell will officiate. The family will receive friends following the funeral service.

Mrs. Richards, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, was the daughter of the late Norman O'Dell Morris and Bertha Marie (Reiter) Morris. She was a homemaker, She was a member of the Robins AFB Officers Spouse's Club, Faith Chapter 713 of the Order of the Eastern Star and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Norman L. Richards, COL. USAF (ret.) of Warner Robins, Children, David A. Richards (Linda) Fredericksburg, VA, Sandra E. Richards of Warner Robins, Jeffrey H. Richards (Julia) of Leesburg, VA, Neil A. Richards (Cheri) of Allenwood, PA, Karen L. Edge (Richard II) of Burlington, NJ, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX, 75265-0309. www.komen.org.
