He is survived by his father, Larry L. Gardner; his mother, Linda Howard; his companion of 22 years, Amy J. Reed; and three daughters: Danielle Myers, Lindsay and Chelsea; a grandson, Cameron; two brothers: Gary Lee O'Shell Jr. and Larry Shipe; and a grandmother, Virginia Gardner.
