Robert Lee Andrews, 70, Keno, died April 7, 2006, of natural causes at the home
of his daughter in Medford after a short battle against cancer.

Mr. Andrews was born in Oregon to George and Kathleen H. (Rubens) Andrews.

In 1954, he graduated from Warrenton High School, then joined the Naval ROTC
program at the Oregon State University.

He served three years on active duty in the Navy before attending California
Polytechnic State University and graduating from there with a degree in biology.
It was there that he met his future wife Christine Ruth Morrison and they were
married June 17, 1967, in West Covina, Calif.

They made their home in California while he worked for California Edison.

In 1978 Mr. Andrews became employed by Pacific Power, which brought him to Keno.
He retired as a dispatcher with the company in 1998.

While in high school and the Navy, he enjoyed playing football and had a passion
for hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Survivors include his daughter Crystal Andrews and her fiance Keith Patterson of
Medford; brother Floyd Andrews of Blaine, Wash.; three nieces and many cousins
and special friends.
