John Nick Cox, 83-year-old Anderson county farmer, died at his home at Edgemoor yesterday at 7:30 a.m. after an illness of several months.
Funeral will be at the home today at 2 p.m. Burial in the family cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Sarah Marshall Cox; four sons, Hugh Cox, of Edgemoor, Horace Cox, of Detroit, Jim Cox, of Alaska, and John Cox, of Powell Station; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Boane, of New Market, Mrs. Allie Roberts and Mrs. Otto Childress, of Knoxville.
