Edith Fay (Boyd) Williams was born October 31st, 1923, in Parker, Coal County, Oklahoma, the tenth child of Thomas Stanford Boyd and Lula Belle Boyd. She passed away Wednesday, December 29th, 2004 in Midwest City, Oklahoma after a three-year illness. She was preceded in death by her parents and her nine brothers and sisters: Arthur, Alma, Freddie, Atha, Lillie, Clyde, Thurman, Clarence, and Carl, and her son Joe F. Williams, III. Edith is survived by her husband Joe F. Williams of Jones, Oklahoma and a son Carl Williams, daughter in law Brenda Williams, and granddaughter Blair Williams all of McKinney, Texas. A devoted wife and mother, Edith was a homemaker who dedicated her life to the love and care of her family.
