Lee Vandiver of Amarillo died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St.

Mrs. Vandiver had been a lifelong resident of Amarillo. She married Floyd E. Vandiver on April, 28, 1940, in Tucumcari, N.M.

Lee was a former president of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and an active local artist in Western paintings.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Vandiver; two sons, Donald Vandiver of Lubbock and Ellis Vandiver of Crawford; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, James A. McLemore of Amarillo; and a sister, Francis Allen.
