He was the son of William Neely Lovell and Jane (Mulhollem) Lovell
John H. Lovell, aged 80, of Glasgow, died Tuesday morning, December 26th after a lengthy illness. He was a retired meat dealer and one of Glasgow's well known residents. Surviving are seven children, Harry C. of Altoona; J. Oscar of Fallentimber, J. Roy of Johnstown; Cecil C., of Coalport; Orrie and Pearl, both at home, and Beulah in Washington, D.C.. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: A. C. Lovell, of Blandburg; Amon Lovell, of Glasgow; Robert Lovell of Glasgow; Rebekah of California and Laura of Glasgow. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon in the Lovell home by the Rev. Elmer Drumm, pastor of the Glasgow Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Glasgow Cemetery.
