MRS. MARY E. COKER FUNERAL SERVICES SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Mrs. Mary E. Coker, aged 72 years, died at the family home in Barry Friday afternoon following an extended illness.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the First Baptist church at Barry. Interment was in the Dresden Cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev. Dan Sharpley of Emhouse.
Surviving are her husband, Eddie H. Coker, Barry; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Cooper, Barry; Mrs. Rex Bower, Mrs. Carolyn Higginbotham and Mrs. Euda Barnett, all of Corsicana; and Mrs. Odessa Dill, Blooming Grove; five sons, Edgar, Barnard, Bernice and Wesley Coker, all of Barry, and Vestal Coker, Dallas; 39 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
Pallbearers were J. T. Cooper, Billy B. Cooper, Howard Cooper, Rex Bower, Jr., Robert Bower and Melba Lois Bower, all grandsons.
Corley Funeral Home directed.
