W. H. Boyer, 85, Dies at Easton
W. H. Boyer, 85 years old, died this morning at his home at Easton, Mo. He was a lifelong resident of the community. Mr. Boyer is survived by his wife of the home; six sons, Jess, Porter, Jack and Paul Boyer, all of Easton, and Harry and Buford Boyer, both of St. Joseph, and two daughters, Mrs. Urb Kerns, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Harold Crouse, Easton; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. No funeral arrangements have been made.

William Boyer Dies at Home Near Easton
William H. Boyer, 85 year old farmer, died yesterday at his home five miles northeast of Easton. The body has been returned to the home where it will lie in state until time for the funeral.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Freeman Chapel, Easton. The Rev. J. T. Treece of Industrial City will officiate and burial will be in Freeman Chapel Cemetery. The pallbearers will be the grandsons. The Lyon funeral home of Stewartsville will have charge of the service.
Surviving Mr. Boyer are his wife, Sarilda; six sons, Harry F. and Bueford both of St. Joseph, William P. of Mountain View, Mo., Jack, Paul and Jeff of Easton; two daughters, Mrs. Urb Kerns of St. Joseph, Mrs. Harold Crouse of Easton; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
