Harry H. Hockenberry age 69 died at the home of Mrs. W.W. Carey his daughter in Moretown last Saturday, of apoplexy. Born 1837 in Metal Town, Franklin County, PA. He was the son of Jonathan and Mazinda Wilkinson Hockenberry

Mr. Hockenberry's loving family circle were his wife of forty-four years, Georgianna Griswold Hockenberry. Sons Frank L. Fred W., Herbert H., Julian H., triplet sons, William S. John S., Edward B. and his daughters Winona M.Carey, Josephine P. Steeves, Georgia May, Inez and his brothers Frank T and William H of Chambersburg, PA.

He was a horse trainer and driver of fast horses during the greater part of his life in Bradford, VT. Residing also in Chicopee Falls, MA, returned to Vermont to live in Moretown, prior to his death

The funeral was held there at two o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. W. Dukeshire, of this city, officiating. The body will be returned to Upper Plains Cemetery, Bradford for burial

His grandchildren and great grandchildren dedicate this page to his memory.
