He graduated from Loyal High School in 1947. He had various jobs until he joined the Air Force in 1950. He served in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1954. He settled in Bay City and opened Arrow TV Shop with his brother. He moved back to Kingfisher and operated a TV repair shop for 15 years before returning to Michigan.
Surviving are his brother, Robert of Bay City, and one sister, Bettye Hiebert of Halstead, Kansas. He was preceded in death by one sister.
