Relatives and friends were deeply shocked to hear of the passing of Clarence Leeper, which took place at the Ammerman hospital at Nevada, Mo., Friday, June 19, 1936. Clarence submitted to an emergency operation Saturday evening June 13.
Clarence Andy Leeper, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Leeper, was born January. 17, 1906, and departed this life after a brief illness June 19, 1936, making his stay on this earth 29 years, 5 months, and 2 days.
He was born and reared to manhood in and around El Dorado Springs, where he made many friends. He was united in marriage to Miss Lottie Meighn, and to this union one son was born, Harold Daniel.
He leaves to mourn his passing, besides his wife and son, his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Jim Leeper of El Dorado Springs, two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lynch of Tulsa, Okla, and Mrs. Irene Adams of this city; two brothers, Carl and Vernie, also of this city, also many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for the deceased, took place at the Gwinn-Siders funeral home, Sunday evening, June 21, at 2 o'clock, and were conducted by Rev. Elmer D. Kertzinger. Interment took place in the El Dorado Springs cemetery.
