Lewis D. Yingling
Well known resident of Blandburg, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Annnie Lewis, at Blandburg, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments. He was born on Feb 19, 1861, and is survived by the following children: Robert, Joseph, Frank, Michael, Samuel and Charles Yingling and the daughter at whose home he died, all of Blandburg, and Mrs. Luella Thomas of Mountaindale and thirthy-eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Margaret Powers of Bellwood, Mrs. Mary Evans of Altoona, Mrs. Catherine Dodson, John and Charles Yingling, all of East Freedom, and William Yingling of Hollidaysburg. Services conducted at St. Richards's Catholic church of Blandburg, Wednesday at 9 a.m. interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery, Glasgow.
