Pauline Snodgrass, 70, died May 30 at her Anchorage home. A funeral was held at Witzleben Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, with Bishop Bud Jepson of the Second Ward of the Maplewood Latterday Saints Center presiding.

Mrs. Snodgrass was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Loa, Utah. She had lived in Alaska since 1947. Until her retirement she worked as a civilian employee for the Federal Aviation Administration, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the District Engineers and the Bureau of Land Management. After her retirement, she worked at the Soldotna Tourist Information Center. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Her favorite pastime was gardening. She was a member of the Latterday Saints Church, Maplewood Chapel, Ward 2.

She leaves her son, William Cross, of Houston; her daughter, Melba Worledge, of Fairbanks; her brothers, Ray Peterson, of San Diego, Calif., and Frank Peterson, of Salt Lake City, Utah; her sisters, Vida Sawyer, of Rock Springs, Wyo., Carma Lewis, of Yuma, Ariz., LaRaine White, of Sunset, Utah, and Marjean Heckman, of Salt Lake City; and six grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. In 1974, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis J. Snodgrass. Memorials may be sent to either the Salvation Army or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Burial was in Angelus Memorial Park.
