He was the son of a Revolutionary soldier Ebenezer Wood III (1754-1831) and Mary Hutchins (1757-1825) whom
are buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware, OH. Ebenezer IV lived in Malone near many of his kin that were from
Bennington, VT and were the founders of Malone. He is buried with his wife Elizabeth who died 14 Jan 1863, aged 88, in this cemetery.
