Graveside services for William Paul Ailes, 81, of Sulpher
Springs, Texas, will be held 3 p.m., Dec. 30, at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo.
Mr. Ailes passed away Dec. 26, 1997, at the Hopkins County
Nursing Home.
William Paul Ailes was born to Roy H. and Clara (Coates)
Ailes, September 17, 1916, in Pontiac, Mich. He married Opal Irene Self on Dec. 18, 1943, in Las Vegas, Nev. She preceded him
in death in 1997. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by is son, William R. Ailes of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
