Ransom, Kansas ----- Mrs. Emma Rose Rufenacht, 90, died Saturday at St. Anthony Hospital, Hays, after being treated for a broken arm and hip suffered last week.

Mrs. Rufenacht was born Feb. 14, 1872 at Bloomington, Illinois. She had lived in the Ransom area most of her life.

Survivors are a son, Fred, Scott City; six daughters, Mrs. Celia Nimz, Arnold; Mrs. Anna Day, La Junta, Colo.; Mrs. Eva Coppersmith, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Emma Pearce, Springfield, Colo.; Mrs. Ida Todd, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Eleska Nishler, Ransom; two half-sisters, Mrs. Rose Oppliger, Ransom; Mrs. Anna Graeff, Dighton; a half-brother, Ben Ummel, Ransom, 34 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.
