Beverly Ann Wallace, 72, of Mexia, passed away on May 13, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014, at Porter Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mary Wilburn officiating.

Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, near Teague.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Beverly Ann was born in Pilot Point, Texas, to the late Dr. Jesse F. Baker and Evelyn M. Henry Baker.

She had been in the community for more than 50 years.

Beverly worked at the sewing factory here in Mexia in the 70s, and then spent many years working at Charlie's Exxon.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Wesley Alldredge III; and a daughter, Karla Alldredge.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley D. Wallace, of Mexia; sons, Bobby Carpenter and family, of Tehuacana, and John Alldredge and family, of Waco; daughters, Becky Lloyd and family, of Mexia, and Debbie Price and family, also of Mexia; stepdaughter, Nichole Burns and family, of Mexia; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Gaylon and Ruth Hall, of Teague; brother, Tommy Baker and family; other family members and many friends.
