~ J.W. CHICHESTER DIES AT SUMMIT ~
James W. Chichester, 70, died Monday morning at his home in Summit. He was born in thei county and had spent practically all his life here. He was a member of the Fairview M.E. church.
Funeral services will be held from the Summit M.E. church Wednsday morning at 10:30 o'clock, with Rev. J.J. Kelly officiating. Burial will be made in Home cemetery at Dough's ridge.
He leaves his widow, Emma; two daughters, Mrs. Hattie Markley, of Ashville, Ohio, and Mrs. Olive Lockhart of Parkersburg, and five sons, William Windland of Parkersburg; Hubert of Barlow, Ohio; Charles and Hartsel of Guysville, Ohio, and Okey, at home. He also is survived by 25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
