WEST POINT – Pearlie Mae Ivy Baskin, 71, died Friday, August 18, 1989 in the Oktibbeha County Hospital , Starkville, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Minor Bell Ivy and Annie Haughton Ivy. She was born in Clay County, Mississippi on February 22, 1918. She was a lifelong member of the Saint Robertson, M. B. Church, Wet Point, Mississippi.

Services were held Sunday, August 27, 1989, 1:00 p.m. St. Robertson M. B. Church with the Rev. Elbert Lee, officitaing. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Westbrooks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one brother Lou Thomas Ivy, of West Point; five daughters, Addie Johnson of Chicago, IL,Patricia Henely of West Point, MS; Annie Bowens and Sandra Baskin of West Point, MS and Minnie Banks of Columbus, MS; two sons, Larry Baskin, Sr. of Houston, MS and James Baskin of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents,and a son Alvin Baskin.
