On Nov. 25, 1921 in Marble Hill MO, he married Martha Elizabeth Roberts, daughter of Reuben Elisha Roberts and Nancy Jane FOX. She is also a niece of Santafa Lenora Points, nee Roberts. They divorced in 1926. They had three children; Wynetta Gerlin, Floyd Earl, and Cletus Eugene. Willard married Bessie Howton on April 2, 1944 in Arkansas.
