I remember spending the night at grandmas' when i was younger, maybe 8 or 9 years old. She had a parakeet named 'Bimbo" that was fun to play with. I remember making homemade bread with grandma and before we went to bed we either had bread or cold cereal. I also recall her taking me to grandpas' machine shop where he worked. This was Dewey, her second husband, and the only grandpa I knew. I remember my grandmother being very kind and fun to be around. She spent her final years in Pasadena, California.
