Women Leaves 75 Survivors - Oakville, July 21, 1953 - Mrs. Lucy Belle (Shattuck) Bradshaw, 77, 387 Falls Ave., died this morning at Waterbury Hospital after a short illness, leaving 75 direct survivors, including six sons, Raymond, Charles, Pearley, Howard and Elton, all of Oakville, and Edgar, Watertown; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Mildred) Hallock, Oakville, 30 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
Born Jan. 26, 1876, in Hollis, NH, she had been a resident of Oakville for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Congregational Church.
Funeral services will be held thursday morning at 11 at the Alderson Funeral Home, 70 Central Ave., Rev. Oscar Locke officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Watertown. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow, 3 to 5 and 7 to 10.
