Margaret L. Freeby-Auer, 89, of Decatur died yesterday at Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington. She was previously a partner in W. H. Zwick & Sons Funeral Home and Furniture Store and later a partner in the Wemhoff Monument Co.
Surviving are her son, Dr. C. William Freeby of Bloomington; stepsons, John Auer of Fort Wayne and Robert Auer of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Dr. Harold F. Zwick of Decatur; nine grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Her first husband, Robert B. Freeby, preceded her in death in 1953. Her second husband, George W. Auer, died in 1983.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur, where calling is after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Calling is also from 3 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Zwick Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are to Robert J. Zwick Scholarship Fund or Zion Lutheran Church.
