Ralph T. Jones, Age 80, passed away August 20 at home with family. He had waged a long courageous fight with multiple health issues and was grateful for the love and support of his family and friends. Born February 7, 1928 in Blackburn, AR to Granville and Louise Jones. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by wife, Betty of 57 years; son, Les; daughters, Susan Lopey, and Cheryl Padilla; grandchildren, Donny, Jamie, Marc, Michael, and Thomas; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Earnest, Lowen, J.C. and Argle; sisters, Katie Fair, Peggy Jones, and Ruby Hampton. He was preceded in death by grandson, Brian Lopey; sisters, Stella Johnson and Wanda Drain. Special thanks to the many doctors, St. Mary‘s Hospital, nurses, Home Health Care, and Hospice that helped prolong his life.

The cremation is directed by Washoe Memorial. A Celebration of his life will be held for family and friends on Saturday August 30, at 2 p.m. at 280 River Bend Drive, Verdi (Exit #4 Boomtown-Garson Rd.)
