Helen's parents were on the Deepwater, Henry Co., Missouri census' for 1910 and 1920 evidently not moving during those years, so I had her birth in Deepwater but changed to Germantown per the information below.

Helen R. Schallert, 90, of Montrose, passed away Friday, September 2, 2008, at Bristol Manor Nursing Home in Butler.
Helen was born on December 13, 1917, the daughter of Frank Sickman and Catherine (Kate) "Walbert" Sickman. She married Lester Foster in Kansas City in 1938. Lester died in 1969. Bernard Schallert and Helen were married in 1992 in Montrose. He also preceded her in death.
Helen was a homemaker who spent many hours volunteering in her community. She worked with Meals on Wheels, was very involved in her church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Montrose, but perhaps best known for helping working families by taking care of their pre-school age children, cooking and cleaning for them long before public daycare centers were available.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Foster and his wife Janice of Paducah, Kentucky, her brother Kenneth Sickman and his wife Joyce of Grain Valley, three granddaughters, Julie Williams and her husband Ray of Peculiar, Joy Clark and her husband Buster of Paducah, Jacquie Wright and her husband Wendell of Paducah, one grandson, Juston Foster and his wife Wendy of Nevada, Missouri, and eight great grandchildren, Kurt, Katlinne, Kallie, Kale, Brandon, Cameron, Caitlyn and Cody.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Lester Foster, her husband Bernard Schallert, one daughter, Jane Knight, one great grandson, Kody Williams, five brothers and two sisters.
A Graveside Service, attended by her family, was held Monday, September 8, 2008, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Montrose. Father John officiated. Pallbearers were Tom Knight, Wendell Wright, Ray Williams, Kurt Williams, Buster Clark and Brandon Clark. The family suggests memorial donations to The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Montrose. Online condolences may be shared at www.consalusfuneralhome.com.
