Funeral services for Mrs. Homer Deal, 49, Nelson, who died Sunday, July 1, at the Evangelical Hospital, Marshalltown, Iowa, were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Harry Higgins, minister of the Slater. Baptist Church, conducted the services.

The organist, Mrs. C. E. Whitehead, accompanied Mrs. Bill Phillips when she sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset."

Pallbearers were: Harold Deal, Henry Deal, Gilbert Borgman, Harold Hemeyer, G. C. Piper and Edward Witthar.

Burial was in the Ridge Park Cemetery.

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the services were: Mrs. Mattie Hellyer, Colo, Iowa; .Mrs. Lowell Oaks and daughter, Ruth Ann, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Otto and family, Wilma, Patty and Larry. Clemons, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wilhoit, Bowling Green; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Deal, Dexter; Mrs. Eda May Hill and daughter, Carolyn, Kansas City, Kans.; and Mr. and Mrs. William Handsaker, Nevada, Iowa.
