Mrs. Elizabeth Morris Almasian, 43, of 1340 Oak Ave., Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 7:45 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 1960 at the U.S. Army Hospital at Ft. Gordon, Georgia, following an extended illness. She was the wife of SFC Michael Almasian. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Abilene Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Pollock officiating, assisted by the Rev. L.G. Chewning. Interment will be in the Churchyard Cemetery. Mrs. Almasian was born in Columbia County, Ga., and lived in Augusta throughout her life. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Donald Berry, a grandchild; her mother, Mrs. C.H. Morris of Martinez, Ga., a sister Mrs. Gemmell Scoggins of Martinez; three brothers, Floyd Morris of Evans, Ga., Louis Morris of Augusta and Hartwell Morris of Martinez; a number of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Larry Carter, A.C. Deas, Sgt. Lawrence E. Rubey, Heywood Woodward, Capt. Alvin L. Smith and B.T. Linder. Elliott Sons.
