Eliza was the daughter of
Aaron Drake
(1765-1824) and Margaret Gulick (1783-1869) and the 3rd-great-granddaughter of Rev. John Drake (1655-1741) and Rebecca Trotter (1655-1702).

She had one brother, John (1805 - ), and one sister, Clarissa (1807-1887).

Eliza married William Caskey Hilts (1814-1885), on Jan. 14, 1837 at the Presbyterian Church in Mt. Olive, NJ.

They had seven children: Samuel J. (1837-1909), Thomas K. (1839-1843), my great-grandfather John H. (1842-1920), Martha A. (1845-1914), William T. (1848-1920), Charles (1853-1874), and Philip G. (1859-1935).

Although Eliza's grave has not been found I'm guessing that her grave is in Mount Olive Union Cemetery for no other reason than it was originally the Mount Olive Presbyterian Church Cemetery, the church where she was married, and her death certificate lists her burial as being in Mount Olive.

Any of the four photographs I added could be the grave markers for Eliza Drake Hilts or William Caskey Hilts.
