Robert L. Marcucci son of the late Ernesto and Ines Marcucci passed away January 30, 2007
Born in Washington, Iowa and at the age of 2 he moved with his parents, sister and brother to Italy where he grew and spoke Italian only. The family returned to the US when Bobby was 6 years and he had to go to school where he could not speak English!
Bob served his country in the Navy during WWII and found his wife Jean Bailey, while he was based in Missouri.
Bob was a Christian, a husband, a father, a soldier and a scientist. He was well grounded in his faith and belief in Christ and he raised his family in that faith.
He was a devoted husband to his wife throughout their marriage. Bob loved his children. He was stern but he tempered it with his loving side over and over again.
There was nothing Bob couldn't build when he put his mind to it. He would study the options, make plans on paper and budget it to the Nth degree right down to the lead in the pencil he was using.
Ron added, " Dad always had a plan, recently in the hospital when the doctors told him their last plan wasn't working he simply said , what's your solution? what's the plan?"
Always an optimist. God rest his soul.
