Mrs. Margaret Badeau

Mrs. Margaret Badeau died at 11:30 Wednesday night of last week at her home at Elk Creek, after an illness of two years.

Funeral was held Satruday at 2 o'clock from the home, the Rev. D.m. Corkwell, pastor of Schenevus Methodist Church officiated and Burial was at Davenport.

Mrs. Badeau was born February 11th, 1875, in Davenport, daughter of Wellington and Jane (Bloomer) Neer. For the past fifteen years her home had been at Elk Creek where for osme time she operated a store and the post office. Previously she lived at Davenport and Schenectady.

She was a twenty-five year member and a past noble grand of Friendly Hand Rebekah lodge, Schenectady, and a member of D.A.R. in that city.

Surviving are a son by a previous marriage, Charles Terrell; a brother, Daniel A. Neer of Cooperstown; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Kelsch of Oneonta, and Mrs. Josephine Brockway of Davenport; one grandson, and two great grandhcildren. Mr. Badeau died in 1937.
