Sarah Frances Box, 95, and a resident of Woolmarket, MS, passed away at her home on Friday May 11, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Sarah was a native of Tippah Co. (Ripley), and a former resident of Corinth, MS before moving to the coast where she was a member of the Woolmarket Baptist Church. She was also a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who saw good in everyone and will be missed by many family and friends. Ms. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Irvin Box; her parents: Henry Augusta Moore and Mary Elizabeth Richardson Moore; son-in-law: Edgar Allyn Bates; five brothers and four sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters; Virginia (Glen) Graham and Earline Bates all of Woolmarket; a grandson: Robert A. Bates; a granddaughter: Aimee (Michael) Griffith; a great-granddaughter: Katelyn Griffith; and several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all at Trinity Hospice for their love and support during Ms. Sarah's illness. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Ms. Sarah on Monday May 14, 2007, at the Woolmarket Baptist Church from 1PM until services at 2PM in the church sanctuary followed by burial in the Coalville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made in Ms. Sarah's name to Trinity Hospice, 6819 Washington Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564, or The Gideon's International, 8332 West Oaklawn Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532.
