James Elmer Brashier, 60, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at his resident.
He was an officer with Dyer County Sheriff's Department and a member of Hurricane Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 1 PM Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Ragsdale and Brother Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Hill Cemetery.
The family will be at 5-9 PM today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Clark Brashier of Dyersburg; six daughters, Paula Hawkins, Falisha Lemons, Jamie Orchard and Penny Fitzhugh, all of Dyersburg, Kim Curtis of Yorkville and Amy Mallory of Ripley; two sons, Ricky Brashier of Dyersburg and Tim Bowles of Murfreesboro; a sister, Evelyn Kimbrell of Dyersburg; a brother, Ben Brashier of Dyersburg; and 10 grandchildren.
