Lee was born August 29, 1930 in Matthews, Georgia.

He retired from the US Army after serving 28 years in Austria, Germany, Korea, and many stateside bases including Key West and Ft. Bliss, where he worked with the Hawk Missile System. Upon his retirement, his love of children had him driving the school bus for EPISD.

Lee is survived by his wife of 56 years Annie Mae Arrington, his son and daughter in law, Ronnie and Charlene Arrington, his daughter Teresa Arrington, one granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Jerediah Buentello, four grandsons, Stephen and wife Melissa, Daniel, Patrick and Christopher, and three great grandchildren, Sierra and Cody Buentello and Kenneth Lee Arrington. He also leaves behind three brothers, David, Charles, and Tommy and one sister Annette all from Augusta, Georgia along with many great friends including life long friends Howard and Sue Goss.

He loved hunting and shooting and was often found hanging out at the Ft. Bliss Rod and Gun Club, which he helped co-found. His other passion in life was photography.

The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nursing Staff in ICU at Beaumont Army Medical Center for their care and compassion.
