Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie M. Bricker, 80 will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Hastings Funeral Home. Rev. Phill Simmons of the United Methodist Chruch of East Jordan will Officiate and interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan. Mrs. Bricker died Dec. 22 at her home.
Born at Boyne City Aug. 30,1901 the former Jessie M. Manke was married to Zell Bricker on March 17, 1921 at Lansing. They lived in East Jordan until 1943 when they moved to their present home. Mrs Bricker was a telepone operator at Boyne City and for many years filled the same position at Ellsworth. She was employed at the Ellsworth for 30 years. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Jensen-Richardson Post No. 488, American Legion. Mr. Bricker prededed her in death in March 1981. She is surved by two daughters; Mrs. Glen (Lillian) Gee of East Jordan; Mrs Willard (Jeannette) Muma of Ellsworth and a son Elwood (Zola) Bricker from Lansing; 14 grandchildren, 29 geat- grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Crystal Gilsoul of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
