Her stone was broken in half and my mother had a local monument company place it in cement. They recommended leaving it on the ground because it was so thin and would likely break again at some point. It may one day be covered up, but it was repaired as best as it could be and photographed. -Meradith McGee Hale (Merf)

Currently working on finding her ancestors. Our DNA points to descendants of Joseph Newton and Helena Anderson. I believe their daughter, Elizabeth, married Samuel Dye (as evidenced in the will of Joseph Newton) and their son, Kenneth, may be the father of Elizabeth Dye Bonner. Or....if he had a brother, of which I have yet to find evidence of. YET.
