Darrel was the son of Grace (Warren) and Charles Wilkinson. He was born at Henderson,Iowa,on April 30,1912. He passed away at Aurora, Colo. hospital,on Dec.25,1986.He was married to Maxine Westlake. They had 7 children. He raised them by working several different trades. He spent 22 years in the rodeo circuit as a all around cowboy. He worked as a mechanic and for 25 years he was a dozer operator for Operating Engineers local #9. He joined the Masons in 1972 and held the position of third degree. Fishing was a lifelong love for him.

He is survived by his wife Maxine, and his 7 children,4 daughters,Bonnie(Ray)Hague,Connie(Harry) Sullivan,Judy Poteet,Susie Stephens;3 sons,Bill,Larry,Richard Wilkinson, and Grandchildren;1 brother,Orville Wilkinson and 1 sister,Erma Laurence.
