Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, at Lambeth- Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Karen Easter and Reverend Scott Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mr. Barbour was born August 4, 1948, in Johnston County, to Junious and Margaret Gordon Barbour. He served in the U.S. Army and in the Marine Corp during the Viet Nam War and was awarded the Bronze Star.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patty Barbour.
Mr. Barbour is survived by his brothers, Donald J. Barbour, of Greensboro, Billy Ray Barbour, of Randleman, and Michael Glenn Barbour, of Colfax; sisters, Bonnie Powers, of York, S.C., and Lisa Ann Swain, of Greensboro.
