Pratt Nelson, 82, of Farmington died Wednesday at San Juan Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are a 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Farmington with Bob Gamble and Tom Ogilvie officiating. Visitation is Friday noon - 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - noon at La Quey Funeral Home in Farmington. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. He was born March 15, 1912, in Fruitland, had owned several trading posts and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife Helen of Farmington; 3 sons; 2 daughters; and 12 grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bob Cardon, Jim Cardon, Bud Nelson, Dr. Wetzel Williams, Greg Noel and Gary Fisher. Honorary pallbearers are Vernon Bloomfield, Charlie Handley, Jewell McGee, John T. Davis, and Dan Christensen. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible representative, 201 E. Broadway, Farmington 87401.
