Minnie Lee Kirk was born to John Milton and Lucy Emeline Dennis Kirk at Japton Madison County Arkansas. On Sept 8, 1908 she married Newt Smith and they had 13 children. The first child and the last two (twins) died at birth. Their other children were Lucy, Guy, Cleo, Trilla, Haden, Pansy, Kay, Eulis, Vida, and Wanda Lee. She passed away in 1946 at the age of 54.
