Mr. Daniel Bley, of the Town of Belgium, passed away at his home while surrounded by his family early Sunday afternoon, August 31, 2008. He was 76 years old. Dan was born in Belgium on February 6, 1932, son of Frank and Anna "Tessie" Reis Bley. He was united in marriage with Sharlene Berth on April 30, 1955 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church.
Mr. Bley leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Sharlene, their four children: Wendy (Glen) DeBlaey of Newburg, Julie (Leonard) Pautz of Saukville, Susan (Kenneth) Murray of West Bend and Paul (Betty) Bley of Belgium, and 8 grandchildren: Jacqueline & Randy DeBlaey, Nicholas & Revee Olson, Danielle Pautz, Kevin Murray, Karen Alliet and Landen Bley. He is further survived by four brothers: Frank (Margie) Bley of Janesville, Gordon (Mary Ann) Bley, Richard (Joanne) Bley, and Loren (Patricia) Bley, all of Belgium. He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law John Olson, brother Thomas Bley and sister Ruth Parker.
