As an adult, she lived in Fairfax, Virginia. She worked as a secretary for the Federal Government in Washington. She was a talented seamstress and was laid to rest in one of her own designs, a lovely pink dress.
Linda died at the age of 25 and was survived by her parents, siblings, son William James Dean and her husband Kenneth Nichols.
All of Linda's siblings, Turney, Burl, Jeannette, Cheryl and Melissa, are still alive and remain very close.
Linda's mother and father passed away in 2007 and 2001 respectively. They are resting together at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. Both were from Oklahoma.
