Mary Jane Berg Carr was born April 8, 1937 in Oologah, Oklahoma the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Shook) Collins. She died at Forest Hills Care Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Friday, November 9, 2007. She was 70 years of age.

The former Miss Mary Jane Collins was a 1955 graduate of Altamont, Kansas High School. She was married to Charles Berg on June 1, 1958 in Oswego, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1988. Mary married Earl G. Carr on February 23, 1990 in Lenexa, Kansas. They lived in the Kansas City, Kansas area until moving to Broken Arrow in April 2007. Mary worked as a Real Estate Agent for some 30 years, mostly with Coldwell Bankers Realtors. She enjoyed gardening and playing the piano. Mary was a member of Hill Haven Praise Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family request memorials to the Disabled Veterans.

Funeral services for Mary Jane Carr have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Hill Haven Praise Center in Tulsa. Pastor James L. Poulin will officiate. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with the family greeting friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Tulsa Coounty. Burial will be at 2:00 PM at Oswego Cemetery in Oswego, Kansas under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
