Floyd Clifton, 70, a pioneer oil driller, died while visiting in Riverside, Calif. Mr. Clifton is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maudie; Three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Valk of Williams, Ariz., Mrs. Leona Taber of Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Clarena Ice of Claremore; three sons, Freddie Clifton of Turlock, Calif., Floyd Clifton Jr. of Claremore and Eugene Clifton of Tulsa; two sister Mrs. Florence Crume of Claremore and Mrs. Dora Brown of Vinta, and three brothers, Herman Clifton of Claremore, Clyde Clifton of Bushyhead and Earl Clifton of Clinton.
Services will be held at the First Baptist Church with Rev. L. R. Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery
