Remains of Mrs. D. S. Daniels Brought Here From Minneapolis; Funeral At Concord

Minnie Bayless, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Bayless, was born at Concord, Minn, April 10th, 1867, and died Tuesday, December 21st (note: correct date is Dec 31), 1929, at the age of 62 years, eight months and 21 days.

She grew to womanhood in the Concord community and on July 3rd, 1889, she was united in marriage with David S. Daniels. They spent the early part of their married life in this community, and about twenty five years ago moved to Minneapolis, where the home has been since.

Mrs. Daniels had been in poor health for several years preceding her death, but had been able, with her husband, to make a visit among old relatives and old friends in this community last fall.

More than forty years ago Mrs. Daniels united with the Concord Christian church. She is survived by her husband, two sons, H. Wayne, and Floyd H., four grandchildren all of Minneapolis, and one brother, M. M. Bayless of Des Moines, Ia, and many relatives and friends.

Services were held for the deceased in the Concord Christian church Thursday afternoon, Jan. 2, 1930. Dr. R. Bentley Ray, pastor of the church, conducted the services and burial was in Concord Cemetery.

Card of Thanks:
We desire to express our thanks to the friends in Concord and West Concord, who were so helpfully kind at the time of the laying to rest of our wife and mother.
