Beloved father of Bradley Lee Wolverton.
From Huntsville Herald, Huntsville Herald, 12-14-1917
IN MEMORY OF FATHER
Died at his home on November 17, 1917, Mr. Albert Mae Wolverton, the beloved husband of Laura Wolverton.
He was born in Randolph county, Missouri, June 10th, 1859, therefore being 58 years, five months, and seven days at the time of his death.
Albert Mae Wolverton was married to Laura Bradley October 19, 1887. To this union were born 12 children, eleven of which still survive him---three boys and eight girls, as follows: C. F. Wolverton, Ethel Swetnam, Minnie Gaines, W. A. Wolverton, Vallie Hudson, Lee, Claudia, Velma, Ella and Josephine Wolverton; also five grandchildren and seven sisters, four brothers and many relatives and friends.
He was a christian and bore his sufferings without a murmur. He was a true husband, a kind and loving father, and was loved by all who knew him. All was done that loving hands could do, but to no avail. He is gone but not lost. Oh, how we miss him, we cannot call him back, but thank God, we can go to him. Our loss is his eternal gain. He was tenderly laid to rest in Mt. Olivette cemetery November 19, 1917. A beautiful floral wreath covering his casket.
