Mrs. Albert Geiger Of Everest Dies
Mrs. Albert C. Geiger of Everest died Tuesday at the Horton hospital following an illness of three months. She was 79. Her maiden name was Mary Jane Parker and she was born July 9, 1871. She was married to Albert C. Geiger at the Mount Zion church and the young couple lived on the Geiger farm north of Everest. Her husband died in 1937.
Mrs. Geiger and her son, Clarence, moved into Everest from the farm four years ago and bought a home.
Surviving are three daughters—Mrs. Earl Nottingham, Monrovia; Mrs. Ferd Hauber and Mrs. Walter Bearce, both of Hiawatha; Mrs. Noel Kelsall of Kansas City, Mo.; a son Clarence, of the home; a sister, Mrs. Nels Hanson, and a brother, W. E. Parker both of Hiawatha: three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist church in Everest with burial in Rose Hill cemetery at Robinson. Pallbearers will be Raymond Bengston, Milton Geiger, Frank Geiger, Lloyd Hansen and Robert and Ernest Hooper.
