On Tuesday afternoon, quietly and peacefully passed away the spirit of John McDonald, of Oneonta, R. 1. in the 65th year of his age, with paralysis.
His long life was filled with good deeds. He was a good citizen, husband, father and neighbor and member of the Methodist church.
He spent most of his life in Blount county, coming here an orphan boy from Morgan county. He is survived by his widow four sons and four daughters.
The funeral services and interment at Lebanon cemetery conducted by Rev. G. W Elliott.

Son of Hugh A. McDonald and Sarah Ann Cornelius. Married to Sarah Adeline Bynum and had a son Percy L. McDonald.
