SOMERSET - Pauline Wyoma Snider, 85, of Somerset, died at 7:59 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Fairfield Medical Center.
Pauline was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Perry County, the daughter of the late George and Estie Curry Yost. She was a member of the Little Phil Card Club and loved to fish and quilt.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara (Richard) Self of Shawnee, Beverly L. Wood of Columbus and Martie (Ron) Hall of Newark; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Marvin (Kathryn) Yost of Mount Perry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul V. Snider, who passed away Nov. 7, 1987; three sons, Carl V., Lester P. and Leonard L. Snider; two grandchildren, Bret and Nancy Self; two brothers, Kenny and Clement Yost; and a sister, Urie Roberts.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, with the Rev. Eric Self officiating. Burial will be in Community Gardens near New Lexington.
